Privacy Policy for NextRole

Last updated: July 15, 2026

NextRole is operated by JBC Software Development LLC and provides tools for organizing a job search. A user may explore synthetic sample data without an account. Signed-in users use passwordless email authentication so their information can be stored in an owner-scoped account and accessed across supported devices.

Information users provide

Information a user chooses to enter can include an email address, display name, phone number, free-form location, structured resume content, career profile, role and work preferences, desired salary, saved-job salary ranges and posting links, application status, dates, and notes. NextRole assigns an account identifier to keep each user's records separate.

NextRole does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, inbox, calendar, or precise device location. The initial public beta does not accept uploaded resume files.

How information is used

NextRole uses information to authenticate and maintain an account; provide resume, onboarding, Today, Jobs, Tracker, and Strategy features; save and synchronize records a user enters; prepare account exports; process account deletion; protect and operate the service; investigate failures; prevent abuse; and respond to support requests.

NextRole does not use advertising, behavioral tracking, third-party product analytics, or external AI. It does not automatically apply to jobs or monitor email or calendars. NextRole does not sell personal information.

Service providers and operational data

NextRole uses Supabase for passwordless authentication, owner-scoped database storage, account export, account deletion, security, debugging, and service availability. Supabase and its network provider can process and temporarily retain authentication and request metadata such as user ID, IP address, country derived from IP address, user-agent, request path, response status, and latency. The current Supabase Pro configuration retains API/database logs for seven days and daily database backups for seven days. NextRole does not configure a separate log drain or long-term analytics copy.

NextRole uses Resend to deliver magic-link sign-in email. Resend processes the recipient email address, sender identity, message content, delivery status, and related delivery or security metadata. Resend documents 30-day retention for email data. Resume, saved-job, application, and strategy content is not sent through Resend.

JBC Software Development LLC processes only information a user voluntarily sends to jbcsdevs@gmail.com for support, privacy, deletion, or security assistance. Users should not email passwords, authentication links, tokens, full account exports, or unnecessary resume content.

Job-posting links and exports

User-entered job-posting links open external websites only when the user chooses to visit them. Those websites operate under their own privacy practices.

Resume PDF export and account JSON export occur only when initiated by the user. The user chooses where an exported file is saved or shared, and that destination handles the exported copy under its own privacy practices.

Retention and deletion

Account and job-search records remain while an account is active unless the user edits or deletes them. Signed-in users can request a complete JSON export of active account data and can permanently delete the account from Account settings. Account deletion immediately removes the active authentication account and owner-scoped database records. Previously created encrypted backups can retain the deleted state until the seven-day Supabase backup window expires. NextRole does not use backups to recreate an individually deleted account. Files a user previously exported or shared must be deleted separately from the locations the user chose.

Security

NextRole uses encrypted network connections, owner-scoped database policies, authenticated sessions, restricted administrative credentials, and release checks intended to prevent one account from accessing another account's records. No system can guarantee absolute security. A user who believes an account or information is at risk should contact support promptly.

Children

NextRole is a general job-search organization service and is not directed to children under 13. If JBC Software Development LLC learns that information was collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, it will take steps to delete it.

Changes

This policy may be updated when NextRole's features, providers, or legal obligations change. The last-updated date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through an appropriate service or support channel.

Privacy Policy for PainTrail

Last updated: July 10, 2026

PainTrail is a personal record-keeping app designed so that health information stays under the user's control. PainTrail stores pain check-ins, medication records, visit-preparation notes and questions, app settings, and Pro unlock status locally on the device. PainTrail does not operate a server and does not automatically upload this information.

PainTrail provides a manual JSON backup. The backup contains pain check-ins and medication records only. It does not include visit details, questions, the pain profile, app settings, or Pro purchase state. The user chooses where to save or share the file through the iOS share sheet. PainTrail does not automatically upload backups to iCloud or any other service. Once a file leaves PainTrail, the selected destination handles that copy under its own terms and privacy practices.

PainTrail does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking software; create a user account; or sell or rent user data. Information leaves local app storage only when the user initiates PDF sharing or a manual JSON export.

PainTrail offers an optional one-time Pro purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. JBC Software Development LLC does not receive or store payment information.

Deleting PainTrail removes data stored inside the app from the device. PainTrail does not currently provide an in-app reset, delete-all, or individual-entry deletion control. PDF and JSON files previously shared or exported must be deleted separately from the locations where the user chose to save them.

PainTrail is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication guidance, or emergency support. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional about medical decisions.

Paw Care Academy is an iOS app for kids and parents with no ads, tracking, third-party analytics, custom account system, custom cloud save, chat, or push notifications. The app uses Apple StoreKit for optional non-consumable in-app purchases to unlock additional pet-care lessons and mini-games. JBC Software Development LLC does not operate a separate purchase, account, analytics, cloud-save, or gameplay data server for Paw Care Academy.

Paw Care Academy stores local progress on the device, including lessons completed, mini-game scores, practice progress, earned badges, selected pet, and purchase entitlement after a successful Apple purchase or restore. This local data supports offline play and is not uploaded to a JBC server.

M5SteamBridge is a local Mac app distributed from this website. M5SteamBridge keeps setup status, compatibility settings, and diagnostics previews local unless a user chooses to send support information by email.

The app uses manual update checks only. When a user clicks Check for Updates, the app reads a static JBC Development update manifest. The app does not run background telemetry, create accounts, upload files to hosted storage, or install updates automatically.

Third-party services

JBC Software Development LLC may use ordinary business services such as email, hosting, domain services, analytics, app stores, development tools, or support tools. These providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention

Inquiry and support information may be kept as long as needed to respond, maintain records, manage support, or meet normal business needs. You may ask for correction or deletion of information you previously provided.
