Never lose track of an agent again.

“ThreadVigil is essential when running parallel Claude Code and Codex sessions. Being able to catch waiting agents without constantly checking terminal windows is a massive flow boost.”

Staff Systems Engineer AI Developer Tools

“The local cost estimator and continuation handoff features alone make this my go-to utility. Zero data leaves my Mac, which passes our strict security baseline.”

“Finally, an agent monitor that feels like a native macOS app. Simple, notarized, and completely focused on privacy.”

Dashboard Overview: See active agent providers (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor), waiting status notifications, and real-time local token cost estimates in one view.

Local by design.

ThreadVigil reads supported local coding-agent session data to determine status, estimate costs, and generate a handoff only when requested. It stores normalized metadata for seven days rather than full transcripts. Routine network access is limited to Sparkle update checks.

Cursor detail depends on the stable, privacy-safe local formats available on your Mac and may be limited to process-level monitoring.

Keep every coding agent in view.

ThreadVigil is free for macOS 14 or later.
